KNOW THE REQUIRED WORK BEFORE ENROLLING

From lesson plan
to teaching evidence.

This walkthrough summarizes the current foundation specifications. It is not a learner submission or a demonstration of completed marking. Read the current course terms before enrolling.

What both foundations require

  1. A 60-minute lesson plan and appropriate teaching materials.
  2. A continuous 15-minute teaching demonstration drawn from the plan.
  3. A 300–500-word reflection using observable evidence and specific improvements.
  4. Completed Module 1–10 mastery checks and verified course completion requirements.

Module 11 is human reviewed. Modules 1–10 checks are system graded. Obtain consent for recordings, protect learner privacy, and accurately identify any simulated teaching setting.

How the pathways differ

All required artifacts must be authenticated. A 90-point capstone threshold supports distinction, subject to the remaining completion rules. An AI presenter or fabricated teaching evidence must not substitute for the candidate’s assessed performance.

What this does not establish

The short capstone is not equivalent to CELTA’s supervised assessed practice. A Coach Ward certificate is provider issued; it does not guarantee employer acceptance, licensure, work rights, income, or a visa.
